Dyserth Waterfall

Visitors have been coming to Dyserth since the 18th century to enjoy the fresh air as it is situated several hundred feet above sea level.

In lower Dyserth the Afon Ffyddion plunges seventy feet to create the waterfall for which the village is famous. The waterfall in only approximately a hundred metres from The New Inn.

The New Inn is situated at the foot of the Dyserth Waterfall and has a picturesque river running by. The building is 400 years old and was an ex-pay house for coal miners and housed the monks that occupied the 700 year old St. Bridget’s church opposite. The recently extended dining room offers more than just a warm welcome and is the ideal place to have that intimate dinner or large dinner party. Dinning is also popular outside on the quaint patio area and in the secluded garden with the views and sounds of the famous waterfall.
